Rev. Eddie Willis
Director
Director Rev. Eddie Willis, an Ole Miss Wesley alumnus, returned to his hometown of Oxford in the summer of 2010 and began as the campus minister. He uses Word and worship to engage students and the community into a deeper understanding of Christ in their lives. With a Masters in Divinity, over twenty years of work in ministry, Eddie has served as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church, but now in the capacity of Licensed Local Pastor with Taylor United Methodist. He desires to see college young adults enter into a deep relationship with Christ.
Eddie and his wife, Allyson, have 4 children and have been at the UM Wesley since 2010.
Billy Rainey
Associate Director
Billy Rainey began on staff in August of 2021, but has been connected to Wesley since his freshman year at Ole Miss. He graduated Ole Miss in 2017 with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and worked in both digital outreach and college/young adult ministry before joining the Wesley staff. He is pursuing a Master of Divinity through Duke Divinity School’s hybrid program and is a candidate for ordination in the United Methodist Church. He is passionate about helping college students as they go on the journey of making their faith their own.
A native of Jackson, MS and Austin, TX, he is one of five siblings in a family full of Ole Miss Rebels.
Sami Montigny
Campus ministry resident
Sami Montigny will be joining Wesley as a Campus Ministry Resident for the 2022-2023 school year! She graduated from Georgia College & State University with a BA in Fine Art Studio and a minor in French Language and Culture. Prior to joining Ole Miss Wesley, she served with Georgia College Wesley as a Coordinator for Outreach and Community. She will take a leading role in Wesley’s efforts of discipleship and outreach. She is passionate about the unique ability of campus ministry to provide a place where students can be loved while being empowered to love their community and share their faith effectively.
A life long Georgian, she is a native of Lawrenceville.
